As you journey through the mall, you’ll encounter the Tanukis—playful, shape-shifting forest spirits believed to bring wonder and mischief wherever they go. Using your smartphone, simply scan each Tanuki artwork to unlock vibrant animations, interactive surprises, and magical stories that bring these charming characters to life through augmented reality.  This can be part of your unique family outing, a fun bonding activity with friends, or an Instagram-worthy adventure, Uramado AR: Tanukis Awake promises an unforgettable journey where creativity, culture, and technology come together in one enchanting experience, only at SM Supermalls.

More than just an exhibit, Uramado AR: Tanukis Awake transforms the entire mall into an interactive playground where every stop reveals a new discovery. Follow the curated trail, uncover hidden Tanukis, and even find out which Tanuki best matches your personality, making every visit a unique and memorable experience.

Created by acclaimed French-Cambodian artist and designer Julie Stephen Chheng, in collaboration with Thomas Pons and Volumique Studio in Paris, Uramado beautifully blends delicate illustrations with cutting-edge digital technology. Making its Philippine debut, the exhibit showcases Chheng’s distinctive artistic vision while inviting visitors to become active participants in the story.

Beyond this  playful adventure, Uramado offers a meaningful reminder to reconnect with the world around us. Inspired by animist philosophy, the experience encourages visitors to see nature—and even everyday objects—with fresh eyes, revealing the hidden magic that surrounds us.
