“As the needs of our customers continue to evolve, so must the role of insurance—not only as a source of financial protection, but as an enabler of better health, greater access to care, and stronger communities. These awards reflect our commitment to making protection more accessible and relevant to the people we serve, while fostering a workplace culture that empowers our employees to bring our purpose to life,” shared Melita Teo, President and CEO, AIA Philippines. “This achievement is a testament to the dedication of our team, and we remain committed to innovating and creating meaningful, lasting impact for our customers, communities, and the future of our industry.”

In addition, AIA Philippines’ EDGE (Early Development & Growth Experience) program earned the Community Initiative of the Year award for helping prepare university students for careers in insurance and financial services while strengthening the company's long-term talent pipeline. The inaugural program drew more than 2,000 applications from leading universities and onboarded 18 interns with a 100% offer acceptance rate. Beyond its recruitment outcomes, the program helped participants build financial literacy and gain firsthand exposure to careers in insurance and financial services.

“These back-to-back Insurance Asia Awards reaffirm our commitment to an inclusive, purpose-led culture where people can grow, contribute, and belong. By strengthening our focus on diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, along with continuous learning and community service, we enable employees to create meaningful impact.
